Sheila Faye Politis opened Saltwater Surf Art Gallery, home of Sip and Paint Carolina Beach, on the Carolina Beach Boardwalk in April 2014. She has recently moved to the area from Costa Rica where she and her husband have a home in Playa Hermosa. Sheila spent her time there painting for local galleries, building her portfolio, and surfing world class waves. They decided to move to Carolina Beach after news they were expecting their first child who was born in October 2014. Since opening her Surf Art Gallery, Sheila began hosting Sip and Paint Classes to teach her unique style and love of art. Classes are held a few times a week in the gallery.
